If it’s not your land, it’s not your leverage

For a long time, showing up on LinkedIn was enough.

Post. A couple of likes. DM's.

Here's the issue. Someone else's machine means someone else's algorithm.

Building on land you don’t own. And hoping the algorithm plays nice.

Hard Stop #3 If it’s not yours, it’s not lasting.

You will show up in the feed for a short blip. Then you're gone.

People choose trusted sources.
One well-performing post doesn't make you a trusted source.

If your sharpest ideas live on a platform you don’t control, they don’t belong to you. And they won’t be remembered.

Here’s what to do instead

- Use social to spark, not to store
- Build a home for your ideas: your site, your space
- Lead people back to the source

Make sure you know what deserves that home. It makes your signal strong enough to stand on its own.
